I only partially agree with this one because there have been many books written on SEO and I have a few of them. While you are correct that they are slightly out of date even as they are printed, I think there is still much to be gained from reading such books. I learned most of what I know about SEO from 2 of these books and then constantly expand and keep up on that knowledge by reading online forms.

@Angelina - Glad you liked it!

@Leo - Perhaps it is just me then? I am just too lazy to read books? :)

Hi Ivan

I agree with you that any books on SEO you read will be written from the current perspective and by the time they are published they can be out of date. But when it comes to SEO a lot of it links back to the PageRank algorithm which has changed considerably over the years but these have mostly been tweaks and the basic algo still works off the same principles. Lately I've been reading " Googles Pagerank and Beyond - The science for search rankings" by Langville & Meyer. An intense book from the maths behind it but gives you a little more insight into the workings of the algo. Lately I've also been reading Click by Bill Tancer which more deals with the psychology of trends.
